The Planning Department is requesting that the Variance request for Sadie Creek Promenade
(V AR-07-011), that is scheduled for the June 19, 2007 City Council meeting be continued until July 3,
2007 due to the property not being posted within the time period required prior to the public
hearing.

Highlights of Proposed Development: Variance to the: 1) 35-foot wide landscape buffers along
entryway corridors; and, 2) the landscape buffer along streets to be located at the subdivision
boundary within a common lot or a permanent easement. The Applicant proposes to reduce the
width of the landscape buffer on the subject property to 20 feet and use approximately 15 feet to
26 feet of surplus ROW towards the remainder,
