Re: Skybreak Rim — Pura Vida P.U.D. Modification
Dear City of Meridian Planning Staff,
This letter serves as a follow-up to the previously submitted Application Narrative for the
Skybreak Rim Neighborhood application.
The subject property was formerly included as part of the Pura Vida Subdivision application. As
part of that application, a Planned Unit Development (the Pura Vida PUD) was approved by the
City . of Meridian and applied to the larger Pura Vida property.
As you know, this applicant is seeking to include a portion of the property subject to the Pura
Vida PUD within the Skybreak Rim Neighborhood. The City of Meridian has requested that we
submit a PUD modification application to remove the area in question from the Pura Vida PUD .
The PUD modification application modifies only the boundaries of the Pura Vida PUD. It
allows these "rim" properties to be developed with the Skybreak Rim Neighborhood, which
prevents this area from being isolated (which would have been the case). Removal of this
property does not substantively modify the Pura Vida PUD, which continues to meet its internal
requirements, including providing a variety of housing types. Because the requested
modification solely concerns this property and does not affect ownership or development rights
of the remaining Pura Vida properties, we have agreed with City staff that no co-applicants are
required.
We respectfully request the City' s review and consideration of this P.U.D. modification as part
of the Skybreak Rim Neighborhood application. Please let us know if any additional information
or documentation is required.
