Here is a request for continuance for the Waltman Annexation project that is scheduled for this
Thursday's Commission meeting (6-7). Staffis supportive of this request date. Since it has already been
continued several times, we are going to get the re-noticing fee for this project (as we discussed last
week). Thank you.

Hello Caleb-
Per our phone conversations last week, we respectfully request deferral of the Planning and Zoning Hearing from
June 7, 2007 to August 2, 2007 based on the following reasons.
1) Continue with our current Annex and Rezone application changing the concept site plan to a commercial
park layout. The shopping center layout that we have been working towards is not financially certain of at
this time to continue with. The commercial park site layout offers more flexibility to parties interested in
locating at this site without compromising development time tables. The revised concept plan still meets the
annex and zoning request of our application. Further development action would be reviewed through a
subdivision process.
2) Review the new concept site plan with neighbors plus Police, Fire and ACHD.
3) Support your efforts with staff report changes with ample time to review our information provided, and
allow us to respond to your concerns.
4) Come as close as we can to a project with fewer questions and good solutions.
I will continue to copy you with communication between our group and the respective neighbors of both Waltman
Lane and Mallard Point. We will schedule another neighborhood meeting for broad input. Thank you for sharing
