The Public Works Department respectfully requests the following item be placed on the June
4, 2007 City Council agenda, under Consent Agenda, for Council's consideration:
Aooroval of bid for Water and Sewer Imorovements in coni unction with the Intersection
Meridian & McMillan Roadwav Proiect
The City of Meridian has a cooperative agreement with Brighton Corporation who received
bids for this project. The bid amount for the water and sewer improvements for the overall
project low bidder is $16,710. The engineer's estimate was $27,015. This work will be done
as a part of Brighton's contract.
Recommended Council Action: The Public Works Department recommends
that City Council approves the bid of $16,710 for Water and Sewer
Improvements in conjunction with the Intersection Meridian and McMillan
Roadway Project and authorizes Engineering to go ahead with the project.
