Wells St. This section of the memo looks at cumulative impacts over a broad area and provides entitlement data in areas affected by the subject application. The following information is intended as a reference, rather than a decisive tool, and serves to forecast the number of school-aged children, enrolled in both public and private schools, using city-wide census data. To date and within the last five years, there have been 1942 entitled units (112 single-family and 1830 multi-family) approved within a 1-mile radius of the project location resulting in approximately 1074 school-aged children. Notes: Total units derived from Meridian enterprise data for preliminary plats and relevant conditional use permits over the last 5-years. This data reflects approved projects only and excludes pending applications, including the subject application. American Community Survey 5-year data is used to determine persons per household and enrollment by grades for public and private schools. 1 EXHIBIT A WEST ADA SCHOOL DISTRICT - STUDENT GENERATION RATES West Ada School District (WASD) uses a Student Generation Rate (SGR) to determine what impact future development will have on enrollments. Using WASD’s SGR, the following is City staff’s assessment: The SGR for Meridian Elementary School is 0.51 for single-family and 0.2 for multi-family. Based on the submitted application materials, the proposed project will contain 81 single family units and 0 multi-family units resulting in approximately 42 school-aged children across all grade levels.
