To Whom It May Concern, I am writing as a Woodbridge resident to formally express my opposition to the Latitude 43 development (H-2024-0059). I am deeply concerned about the bait-and-switch that has occurred with this project. The original builder is no longer involved, and KB Homes has submitted new elevations featuring homes at only 1,478 square feet — significantly smaller and lower quality than what was originally promised to our neighborhood. This is not what residents agreed to, and it fundamentally changes the character and property values of Woodbridge. Beyond the Latitude 43 changes themselves, our neighborhood is already facing an unprecedented surge in traffic due to the ISU expansion, ICOM expansion, the West Ada Career Technical Education Center (projected to generate 5,330 vehicle trips per day in the Locust Grove area), the Corey Barton development, and newly approved high density condos. Adding 79 new residents without meaningful infrastructure improvements will only make this worse. I am asking the city council to reject the new elevations submitted by KB Homes and hold developers accountable to the original commitments made to our community. Woodbridge residents deserve transparency, quality, and a city government that protects the livability of established neighborhoods. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Clayton and Whitney Fike Woodbridge Residents 1
