Dear Mayor and Meridian City Council members, I am writing as a resident of Woodbridge regarding the proposed Latitude 43 subdivision development on the property directly next to our homes. I am not opposed to responsible growth. However, the current proposal raises serious concerns about traffic safety and overall neighborhood compatibility. Our neighborhood streets already experience congestion during peak hours, and additional homes will likely increase traffic in ways that put families and children at risk. We are also concerned about the increase in traffic through our neighborhood street that will result from the completion of the planned ICOM expansion. I would like to see City Council also consider that fact when deciding if this new subdivision is, indeed, practical. Beyond infrastructure, the newly proposed elevations (KB Homes) do not appear consistent with the character of our established neighborhood. The previously submitted builder (Pacific Life Style Homes) had a much more integrated elevation design submitted. It has come to our attention through neighborhood representatives that this change was submitted roughly a week ago. We respectfully ask the City to carefully consider the existing issues (mainly traffic through the area) with this proposal and require thorough traffic and impact studies and have open community engagement with the developers before moving forward. We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to being included in any further discussions regarding this development. Respectfully, Erin Russell 612 S Woodhaven Avee Meridian ID 83642 erussell610@gmail.com 1
