Re : Conditional Approval — Sewer Line Installation within SW69 State Right-of-Way for Syringa Crossing
Subdivision
Dear Ethan,
The Idaho Transportation Department ( ITD ) grants conditional approval for the Syringa Crossing
Subdivision to install a sewer line within the State right-of-way ( ROW ) along State Highway 69 ( SH -69 ) .
The proposed installation will be located on the west side of SH -69, extending approximately 153 . 5 feet
south from the development' s parcel at the southwest corner located at the intersection of SH -69 and Amity Road .
This installation is intended to temporarily support utility infrastructure for the Syringa Crossing development .
Please note that this approval is conditional and subject to the following requirements :
Permit Application : A fully completed utility permit application must be submitted to ITD for review and approval
prior to any construction activity. The permit shall demonstrate the following requirements :
• Measurements from the edge of pavement to the temporary sewer line .
• Measurements showing the depth of the sewer line as it runs down ITD ROW .
• Materials used in the construction if the temporary sewer line must conform to Standard
Specifications for Highway Construction 2023 .
• Approved set of Temporary Traffic Control Plans
• Approved plan for the abandonment of the temporary sewer line .
Guarantee of Temporary Status : The Developer shall submit documentation from the City of Meridian
demonstrating that it shall require the necessary easements for a permanent location for the sewer line as a
condition of development for neighboring parcels .
No work shall commence within the State ROW until ITD has issued the final approved permit . All
construction activities must comply with ITD standards and specifications .
