Meridian City Council Special Meeting July 9, 2002
The Special Meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 5:00 P.M. on
July 9, 2002, by Mayor Robert Corrie.
Members Present: Robert Corrie, Cherie McCandless, Bill Nary, Tammy De Weerd and
Keith Bird.
Others Present: Bill Nichols, Dawneen Blakeslee and Will Berg.
Corrie: I am going to open the City Council Special Meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2002
at 5:00 P.M. here at the City Council Chambers holding an Executive Session.
Item 3. Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1) (f):
Corrie: I’ll entertain a motion to go into Executive Session according to State Code 1-B.
McCandless: So moved.
Bird: Second.
Corrie: Motion has been made and seconded. Roll-Call vote please, Mr. Berg.
Roll-Call: Nary, aye; Bird, aye; De Weerd, aye; McCandless, aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Corrie: Okay. I’ll entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Bird: So moved.
De Weerd: Second.
Corrie: Okay. All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion is approved. No decisions
were made in the Executive Session. At this time, I will entertain to close the Special
Meeting.
De Weerd: I move we adjourn.
Bird: Second.
Corrie: Motion is made and second to adjourn. All those in favor say aye. Okay. It is
6:45 P.M.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
