MEETING BROUGHT TO ORDER: 3:40 pm
APPROVAL OF AGENDA: October 22, 2025, agenda approved.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: September 24, 2025, meeting minutes approved with corrections.
STAFF REPORTS
Legal Department staff, Ali Breshears, presented to SWAC the updated Commission bylaws.
Breshears requested SWAC to pass a motion to move the bylaws either as is or amended back to
Legal. Staff will then present all City Commission bylaws to City Council in January 2026. SWAC
voted yes to move the bylaws as written back to Legal to present to Council.
NEW BUSINESS
SWAC members participated in an on-site tour of Republic Services’ Meridian Transfer
Station.
