ITD determined a viable solution for increasing storage at these southbound turn lanes is to remove the existing median landscape island and replace with pavement. ITD determined the Meridian 118 Development's proportionate share contribution towards this improvement would be$19,977.This is based off the development's site trips through the Ten Mile Interchange for the southbound left turn movement in comparison to total southbound left turns at this interchange in 2030. Details of the proportionate share calculation are included in the attached ITD Staff Technical Report. ITD has been in discussion with ACHD regarding future improvements needed at the Ten Mile Interchange and ITD is looking for opportunities to accelerate a funded project to address this upcoming identified need.
