HomeMy WebLinkAboutPZ - Neighborhood Meeting Information NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING October 13, 2025 Dear Neighbor: We discovered an error in the prior neighborhood meeting notice you received last week. To correct the error, we have rescheduled the neighborhood meeting for this project. Please see below for details on the new meeting and disregard the previously mailed notice dated October 8, 2025 regarding the October 16 meeting. We invite you to meet and review a proposed light-industrial project located near the intersection at W. Franklin Road and S. Black Cat Road. An aerial map of the vicinity is included on the following page with the proposed project area outlined in blue. You are receiving this notice because you own property within five hundred(500)feet of the exterior boundary of the proposed project. Purpose of Neighborhood Meeting: The purpose of this neighborhood meeting is to provide an opportunity for public review of the proposed project prior to the submittal of the application and to discuss the specific applications that will be sought by the applicant (described below under Project Description) in compliance with Meridian City Code § 11-5A-6. This is not a public hearing, and public officials will not be present. Once the application has been submitted and processed, the City will schedule a public hearing, and you will receive notice of the public hearing date via postal mail, newspaper publication, and public hearing signage on the project site. Meeting Date/Time: October 22, 2025 from 6:OOPM - 7:OOPM Meeting Location: This meeting will be held at The College of Western Idaho,Nampa Campus Academic Building, located at 5500 E Opportunity Drive,Nampa, Idaho 83687 in room NCAB 218 (Map & Parking Exhibit attached). Project Description: The applicant is proposing a light-industrial development on approximately 22.2 acres located at the southwest corner of the intersection of W. Franklin Road and S. Black Cat Road, addressed as 5035 W. Franklin Road and 5201 W. Franklin Road (Ada County parcel nos. S1216110501 and S 1216110410). The proposed applications to the City of Meridian include (a) annexation of 22.2 acres contiguous to the City of Meridian; (b)zoning of the property as Light Industrial (I-L); (c) a development agreement;(d)a UDC code text amendment;and(e)a conditional use permit to allow industrial use adjacent to residential use.A proposed site plan is included on page 2 of this letter.
