BY THE CITY COUNCIL: CAVENER, LITTLE ROBERTS, OVERTON,
STRADER, TAYLOR,WHITLOCK
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN
REAPPOINTING JARED SMITH TO SEAT 5 OF THE MERIDIAN PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian City Code 2-2-2(A) establishes the Meridian Planning and Zoning
Commission, its members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the reappointment of Jared Smith
to Seat 5 of the Planning and Zoning Commission to be in the best interest of the Meridian Planning
and Zoning Commission and the City of Meridian.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-2-2(B), Jared Smith is hereby reappointed
to Seat 5 of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission, with a term to expire January 31, 2029.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect on February 1, 2026.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 61h day of January, 2026.
