Home My WebLink About25-2546 FEES Adoption Citywide Fee Schedule CITY OF MERIDIAN RESOLUTION NO. 25-2546 BY THE CITY COUNCIL: CAVENER,LITTLE ROBERTS, OVERTON, STRADER, TAYLOR, WHITLOCK A RESOLUTION ADOPTING CHANGING FEES AS OF DECEMBER 1, 2025; SUPERSEDING PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED FEES; AUTHORIZING FINANCE DEPARTMENT TO UPDATE CITYWIDE FEE SCHEDULE AND AUTHORIZING CITY DEPARTMENTS TO COLLECT SUCH FEES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, certain fees charged by City are increasing, decreasing, or are no longer necessary, and certain new fees are necessary, as set forth in Exhibit A hereto; WHEREAS, other fees, including those for recreational classes and programming offered and administered by the Meridian Parks &Recreation Department, fees regarding solid waste and recycling, fees collected by the Public Works Department, and fees collected by the Building Division of the Community Development Department have been adopted and/or modified by separate processes and fee schedules, and will not be changed by this resolution; WHEREAS,pursuant to Idaho Code section 63-1311A, following publication of notice on October 25 and November 1, 2025, and public hearing on November 5, 2025, the City Council of the City of Meridian did, by formal motion, approve new fee amounts as set forth in Exhibit A hereto; and WHEREAS, following such hearing, the City Council,by formal motion, did approve said proposed new fees; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY,IDAHO: Section 1. That the fees set forth in Exhibit A are hereby adopted and shall be included in the Citywide Fee Schedule. Section 2. That the fees adopted by this resolution shall remain in effect until 12:00 a.m. on December 1, 2025, at which point the new fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto shall supersede any and all fees for the enumerated services previously adopted. Section 3. That the Finance Department of the City of Meridian is hereby authorized to incorporate into the Citywide Fee Schedule the changes set forth in Exhibit A. Section 4. That the various departments of the City of Meridian are hereby authorized to implement and carry out the collection of fees set forth in Exhibit A. Section 5. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect on December 1, 2025.
