19.30 +/- ACRE PARCEL AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF FRANKLIN AND
EAGLE ROADS
This application is for annexation and zoning of a parcel of land located at the
southeast corner of Franklin Road and Eagle Road. The parcel is currently under
multiple ownership but is currently being transferred to the applicant. Affidavits from all
property owners are included in the application packet.
The subject site is within Ada County and presently zoned as R-1. The applicant is
requesting rezone to CG - General Retail and Service Commercial District. This site
has access to both Franklin Road and Eagle Road. This parcel is within the city of
Meridian Urban Services Planning Area 2005 and is designated as Commercial on the
City of Meridian Future Land Use Map,
Discussions regarding access have taken place between the applicant and Ada County
Highway District. The applicant has also discussed the proposed development with
Idaho Department of Transportation and has received conceptual approval for utilizing
the existing access to Eagle Road.
The proposed development will include mixed use targeted toward high end users with
shopping, restaurant services, general office and medical office.
A neighborhood meeting was held on December 9, 2006 at the site.
