Dear City Clerk and Council Members,
I am writing regarding the City Council hearing currently scheduled for January 13, 2026 for Cherry
Blossom East (H-2025-0030).
The Williams and the Hansens respectfully request that the January 13th hearing be continued to the
next available City Council hearing date, approximately 30 days later
to allow additional time to gather and organize information necessary for a complete and proper
review of the access and easement components of the application, and to prepare testimony for the
Council’s consideration.
As of today, the applicant has not contacted the affected property owners regarding access and
easement issues discussed at the December 9 City Council hearing. Under Idaho land-use law, the
responsibility to demonstrate compliant access and easements rests with the applicant.
This request is procedural in nature and intended to allow sufficient time for the record to be fully
developed prior to final Council consideration.
Please let us know whether the continuance is granted and what the new hearing date will be.
