Honorable Ms. Roberts, I am writing you to respectfully oppose and ask you to oppose the request to rezone the last 5 acres of C-N to R-15 for the Hill's Century Farm Townhomes project. Many of my neighbors are of the same consent as me as evident in the 50 plus public comments regarding this issue. Allowing this to go through will eliminate the balance the Mixed-Use Neighborhood designation is intended to protect. Most importantly, when the nearby CBH development was hearing public comments, the council determined that it would be justified because the Brighten commercial parcel would balance the higher density in the immediate area. If the City Council would choose to approve this Brighton request now you would be compromising the public trust you work so hard to get established. Honestly I would feel betrayed by my elected officials. I sincerely hope you will listen to your constituents' concern on this matter and vote "No" on this issue Thank you for considering my appeal to you. Sam Scranton 5393 S.
