1. Discussion and Action Items
Renewals for 2026
Medical, dental, Vision The Board reviewed data supplied by BCI and
Gallagher reflecting the number of members that have met the Deductible and
OOP Max. Discussed plan design options that can mitigate a portion of the
increase and drive some consumerism on the plan.
Benchmarking - $2500 OOP is in line with or better than most competitors in
the area.
Board Vote: CB made a motion to move the medical plan to increase
deductible to $2500 and keep all other plan designs the same, ED seconed, all
ayes, motion passed.
Contributions will remain at the 80/20 split. The increase will be applied
across the entirety of the plan.
Board will continue to evaluate options for the future to mitigate increases
going forward.
Dental – Increase of 11.2% resulting in just under $50,000 annual increase.
Vision – Decrease of 0.04%, recommended to hold current funding.
ED motioned to accept the renewals as discussed, CB seconded, all ayes,
motion passed.
