I am writing with concerns regarding the pressurized irrigation system for Cherry Blossom Place (and potentially Cherry Blossom East) subdivision. A letter from Precision Pumping System did not address the concerns that the owners of Cherry Blossom Place HOA have. The letter states only that the system was built as designed. It does not address concerns if the system has been maintained properly (testing and winterization) and if it is working adequately to provide proper irrigation pressure to all homes as well as common areas. We have requested maintenance records but to-date have not received them. It does not appear that any winterization has been done this year either. The irrigation pump was de-energized by a homeowner when he heard it making very loud noises. When he went over to see what was happening he noticed the ditch was dry. This would mean that the run-dry feature on our pump is no longer working. This is an example of why we are questioning if this pump has ever been maintained. As there was no actual running test prior to the irrigation ditch going dry, we are concerned about next year when the system is turned on and we (the homeowners) are left to deal with the neglect that has been happening for the past 6 -8 years.
