We’re requesting deferral until November at this point (later in November), and I believe Kimley Horn is going to be
working on the plan updates to provide some options for retention of right-of-way so the north side can proceed. I
will coordinate with Ryan and Hethe regarding those plan modifications/options, but at this point, tomorrow
night’s hearing for the project would be to request deferral (I will not be at tomorrow’s hearing, but I believe Hethe
was going to attend if necessary to defer to November). Please let me know what else you need from us.

Hi Ben,
We’re happy to meet with you to review options for development that your team has come up with that would
accommodate a collector street in the project area. Otherwise, we don’t really have anything new to report other
than the consultant just completed their initial review of conditions in the area and is now looking at very
preliminary concepts. We recommend you either wait until the study is complete (probably sometime in January)
or propose your own preservation opportunity as we’ve discussed that would ensure adequate ROW for the road,
intersection, and consideration of other driveways and approaches.
The preferred option would be to continue the project to a later hearing in January to see what the consultant
comes up with but if you have a concept you’d like to present to Council, that’s fine too, just let me know a
preferred hearing date you’d like to continue to. Let me know how you’d like to proceed.

After internal discussions, we would request a deferral from the October 14 hearing to a Council
hearing in November in order to work on plan modifications and hopefully come up with some options for
the future collector roadway. With that in mind, we would also like to set up a meeting with you, Bill, and
Carl to discuss the status of the consultant study regarding the connectivity through the area so we can
hopefully understand the direction we should be pursuing. Please let me know what you have available
to meet.
