The applicant for this project is still working through some issues regarding the exact
boundaries of the annexation area. These issues will most likely be resolved shortly
and the applicant has requested that the Ahlquist Annexation (AZ-06-065) be
continued to the March 1,2007 Commission hearing (see attached e-mail). Staff is
requesting that the Commission open and continue the public hearing for
Ahlquist Annexation (AZ-06-065) to the March 1, 2007 Commission hearing, to
allow the applicant more time resolve the annexation boundary issues.
NOTE: In anticipation of continuance, staff has not included the report for Ahlquist
Annexation in the Commission packet for the 1 st of February. The staff report for the

Monday regarding changes to the project area, Ahlquist Development would like to continue our Feb 1 sl Hearing
Date for the annexation and zoning to March 1 sl to coincide with our Preliminary Plat hearing date.
Please let me know if you have any questions. We will deliver the revised application materials to you early next
week.
