Good morning,
Please see below request to withdraw the variance application V AR-07-004. It is Director Canning's
desire that if the City Engineer can work some details to allow his signature without the variance, it
would be better for the long term on this property. Also see attached memo, with suggested wording for
MFP-07 -002.

Subject: Request to withdraw variance
Mr. Cole:
I would like to withdraw the variance with reference #07004 submitted for Sond Subdivision in Meridian. The
variance was requesting that two existing homes be able to remain after final plat approval for a 6 month period.
After review with Meridian City authorities it has been brought to our attention that a variance to the final plat is
not a valid method to achieve our desired result.
Please call or email my office should there be any other documents needed to withdraw this request.
