HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC - Narrative BRIGHT0N September 4, 2025 C.Caleb Hood, Deputy Director Community Development Services Meridian City Hall RE: Full Release of Gravity Irrigation Easement Dear Mr. Hood: Enclosed is a vacation of easement request for the Gravity Irrigation easement created by the plat Hill's Century Farm Commercial Subdivision No. 2. In review of this easement, several errors were discovered as follows: 1. The easement is dedicated to Century Farm Master Association, an entity that does not exist. a. The easement should have been dedicated to Hills Century Farm North Owners Association. 2. The easement was drawn with a width larger than needed to maintain and replace the facility. a. The intention was to have this gravity irrigation easement to be the same width as the utility easement, 10'. 3. A portion of the facility in the Northwest corner near Amity is not covered by the easement. a. The legal description for the new easement provides the necessary coverage for the portion that was missing on the current recorded Hill's Century Farm Commercial Subdivision No. 2 plat. With the full release of the current easement,we will simultaneously record a new gravity irrigation easement to correct these errors.
