Good afternoon,
I live in the Cadence community and my backyard/master bedroom backs up to the loading docks of Costco.
We have an agreement with Costco that they will allow us a certain number of hours during the night where they
will not accept deliveries so that the homes that back up to their delivery port can get some sleep. If Costco finds
that the amount of congestion during the day due to the addition of a VERY popular hamburger joint keeps them
from receiving the deliveries…they may have to continue their deliveries through the night hours when people are
trying to sleep.
In addition, the Costco congestion is already HUGE and problematic, but to add more tra?ic into those 3
entranceways is going to encourage a lot more aggressive drivers and a lot more people being late for work due to
the number of cars coming in and out. We would need an o?icer full time directing tra?ic.
This will also cause issues with our 3 bus stops and create a lot of potential pedestrian accidents.
I love where I live, but if an In and Out burger goes into that parking lot….I will have to sell my house and move.
Please consider moving the location to the other Meridian location where there is better access and no residential
issues.
Thank you.
