Subject:Touchmark Land Use Plan

I am a resident at Touchmark at Meadow Lake. My intent in writing to Council is to express concern with
the updated Touchmark Land Use Plan and, more specifically, to reflect opposition to the manner in
which green space has been addressed within the proposed document. The planned elimination of a
significant lawn area at the formal entrance to the Touchmark "campus" and the construction of villas on
that land will further increase traffic and parking congestion, sharply reduce open space for community
use, and, in fact, change the very nature and appearance of the Touchmark "campus."
Corporate Touchmark is aware of resident concern in this matter and, to date, has made little effort to
communicate collaboratively with residents. I doubt that resident concern will affect the outcome of this
matter, but I would encourage the Council to defer action for a brief time to permit Corporate Touchmark
to reach out and communicate with residents.
