Dear Council Board Members,
It has been brought to the attention of our residents and staff here at TOUCHMARK, MEADOW LAKE
VILLAGE, several proposals- changes to our existing campus and the surrounding property owned my
Touchmark. I would like to address the following concerns affecting our immediate campus property:
* The elimination of the Golf Course and build Villas on same property. This idea is totality out of character
with our living here in the first place as outlined below:
1- Many additional residents using our meeting, theatre and other rooms used for a variety of activities.
2- Eliminating Green Space which there is a minimum required for our complex.
3- Over extension of number of diners in our already crowded dining, service and kitchen facilities.
4- Parking for residents and quests, more limited and an increase of traffic.
5- Transportation by our Touchmark bus and transporters for Doctors and off campus activities becoming
very crowded and
a burden to those who depend solely on this means of transportation for Doctor, grocery and other
necessities.
In closing, these kind of changes take away from our choosing Touchmark in the first place to live out our
future in comfortable surroundings and the many activities and facilities available to us.
