Council Members,
As a resident of Meadow Lake Touchmark, I am urging you to reject Touchmark Land Use Plan and return it to the
Planning Commission for review.
There are several reasons for this request. At Meadow Lake, the golf course is a place for residents to meditate, exercise,
stroll, and enjoy the fresh air as well as the beauty of the area. It is important to the residents, even the ones who do
not golf.
Further, Meadow Lake has problems providing adequate services to residents now. There is inadequate parking,
inadequate dining facilies, and inadequate bus tra nsportaon. To allow the removal of the golf course and add
addional residents will only exacerbate the proble m.
Therefore, please reject the Land Use Plan and return to the Commission to remove the part of the Plan which will
directly impact our current Meadow Lake facility.
