I came across this article yesterday regarding issues with an In-N-Out in Oregon. Please take special note

Ridgefield’s new In-N-Out faces traffic concerns, delayed opening

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — In-N-Out devotees will have to wait a bit longer before they can order a double-double
animal style at the chain’s new location in Ridgefield, Washington.
Fans of the restaurant had hoped the new Ridgefield Union Ridge Town Center location would open by mid-July, but
that deadline has passed and the location is still a work in progress.

In an Aug. 9 update, the city said it has been working closely with the company to ensure the long lines of traffic its
drive thru is known to attract will be kept off of city roads.
If the number of cars exceeds the space available on In-N-Out’s lot, customers will not be permitted to join the line,
according to the city’s statement.
“To ensure the safety of all travelers and maintain emergency access, vehicles will not be permitted to park or line up
on any public roadway, including I-5, its ramps, Pioneer Street, 56th Place, and Pioneer Canyon Drive,” the statement
said. “This will be enforced by local and state law enforcement.”

The city plans to have its staff monitor traffic conditions using live traffic cameras, which are also available to the
public on its website.
“This is ridiculous! I’m not going to check cameras every time I want to leave my house and head towards the
freeway,” said one person in a Facebook comment. “The city should’ve considered the ramifications of an In-N-Out
before, not after the business is ready to open.”
Across the street from In-N-Out’s new location is Costco, and the intersection they share is linked by a roundabout.
Nearby residents have long voiced their concerns over the planning of the two projects.

In-N-Out confirmed to KOIN 6 News that no opening date has been set, but they hope to be up and running by late
September.
Ridgefield City Manager Steve Stuart did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
