Hello,
My name is Elisabetta (Ellie) Wright. I live in Meridian at 1631 N Seawind Pl, which is across the
street from the proposed In-N-Out location. I am vehemently opposed to the installation of
In-N-Out here. This would be a huge detriment to my family. I have a few points that I hope
will be taken into consideration.
My family spends a lot of time outside, and we already have a ton of traffic already and
deal with multiple car accidents every month at the Costco intersection. Unfortunately, a
man even died just outside of my backyard due to a car accident. He laid there for hours.
Explaining that to my kids was not awesome. With In-N-Out, there would be more traffic,
accidents, and air/sound pollution. It’s also a smaller issue, but I don’t want to smell oily fast
food whenever I’m in my backyard.
There is also the issue with how late they want to stay open. I have 4 kids under the age of 8.
They all have bed times, and a business open until 1 AM just across the street, would make it
harder on all families in the surrounding area with kids. On top of that, I don’t want to
encourage people to come to a mostly residential area that late at night. This seems
extremely likely to invite more crime. All other business in the area are closed by 11.
As a resident who will be directly impacted by this decision, I ask that the committee will
please deny the In-N-Out to be established in the area.
Please reach out to me for any clarification, or any information.
Thank you so much,
Ellie Wright
