City Council Members,
I'm very concerned about all the changes Touchmark is
planning. I have lived here for five years and feel very safe,
but with all the changes they are proposing, I'm very worried
about our safety.
We certainly don't need more
homes/townhomes/duplexes/villas. Our dining and meeting
areas are already stretched and there is no room for more
people. We don't even have enough room for all the residents
now living here to meet.
One of my biggest concerns is the 500 non-age-restricted
apartments, and two and three story buildings. We are a
retirement community and I can't see where young children or
teenagers fit in. If I lived in the cottages backed up to that
area, I certainly wouldn't want to sit on my patio or in my home
and look at multi-story buildings.

I think my biggest fear is security and even more traffic. Our
hospitals don't even have enough room for all the new residents
that have moved here.
I, (and many other residents), are hoping you will reconsider
approving these plans. I bet if there was a vote from
Touchmark residents a majority would be opposed.
Thank you for considering my view on this proposal.
