I am copying the City Clerk on this response so that your comments can be included as part of the public record on this project. I think it's important for all of the Council to have the benefit of your input. I also want to let you know that because of an error in the public notice process by the applicant, the hearing on August 12 will be postponed until September 9. Hope all is well with you! Brian Whitlock, District 1 Meridian City Council From: Brent McCurdy <brent.mccurdy@yahoo.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 5, 2025 10:51 AM To: Brian Whitlock <bwhitlock@meridiancity.org> Subject: Support for In-N-Out on Ten Mile External Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments. Brian, I hope this email finds you and your family well. I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for the approval and opening of an In-N-Out Burger on Ten Mile and Chinden. In-N-Out is not only known for its high-quality food and exceptional customer service, but also for its strong corporate values, commitment to cleanliness, and positive economic impact. The presence of In-N-Out in North Meridian would not only offer residents a beloved dining option, but also create local jobs, generate tax revenue, and bring added vibrancy to our growing city. Many residents, including myself, have long hoped for In-N-Out to open nearby. To have an In-N-Out within walking distance would be for many a dream come 1 true. Wow! That is a novel concept! Some seem to be concerned about the traffic in that area with the approval of this In-N-Out, but I drive to Costco multiple times a week and I do not find the traffic unbearable or anywhere near unbearable. I believe that an In-N-Out in Meridian would be a responsible and beneficial addition to our local business landscape. I respectfully urge you to approve the In-N-Out on Ten Mile and Chinden and not be swayed by the number of people who might oppose this. Thank you for your time and for your continued efforts in making Meridian a wonderful place to live. Sincerely, Brent McCurdy 5500 N Powell Creek Ave Meridian, ID 83646 2
