Dear Councilman Whitlock (Hi Brian!!) I’m writing as a concerned resident to formally oppose the proposed construction of an In-N-Out at the Lost Rapids and Ten Mile interchange. As someone who relies on Ten Mile Road multiple times a day, I am deeply concerned about the significant traffic congestion this development would create. In-N-Out is known for drawing high volumes of traffic, especially during peak hours, and this area is already seeing increased congestion following the recent opening of Fast Eddy's at Chinden and Ten Mile. While I support thoughtful development and the growth of our community, placing such a high-traffic business at an already busy intersection could create serious and ongoing traffic issues. The Ten Mile corridor is a vital thoroughfare, and adding a destination restaurant like In-N-Out could result in daily gridlock, affecting residents, commuters, and emergency services. I respectfully urge you to consider the long-term traffic implications and explore alternative locations more suitable for this type of business. Thank you for your time and for serving our community. Sincerely, Karen Manthey 2972 W Lost Rapids Drive, Meridian 1
