Dear City Council Members
1. The corner at Lost Rapids & Ten Mile is a uniquely problematic location for the additional traffic load In-N-Out
represents. There’s dozens of lots available in northwest Meridian with better access and zero impact to residential
areas. The Costco center is already a traffic nightmare and the addition of a popular fast food in the area will cause
more problems.
2. This is a neighborhood. The additional traffic and noise, without a current Traffic Study, will cause safety issues
as well as traffic problems for the area, It is my understanding that the last traffic study was in 2017---8 years ago,
before Costco was open and the massive growth in the area.
3. Meridian is experiencing a large amount of growth. We need to take more into play than just the tax revenues that
one business may bring. There are many other areas that would be better suited for an In & Out burger in the
Meridian area.
