Subject:VOTE NO ON TEN MILE & W. LOST RAPIDS DRIVE IN-AND-OUT BURGER

This is to voice my opposi?on to approval of an In-and-Out Burger near Costco in
Meridian. I do not believe that the December, 2024, ‘traffic study’ was
accurate. Both the ?me of year and length of the study did not represent reality of
traffic year-round. Bo?om line, In-and-Out Burger would have a significant impact
in an area that is currently at capacity and I strongly urge you to deny the business’
request for this loca?on and put an end to any further discussions.
In addi?on, ~80% of local residents are opposed to this type of restaurant (a sit-
down, higher-end restaurant that would generate much less traffic seems like a
much more sensible choice). The fact that the council has considered this loca?on
to this length, overlooking the desires of your Meridian cons?tuents in the area, is
unse?ling. It seems to me this restaurant would be much be?er located in a
thriving business loca?on like Ten Mile Road near I-84.
