To whom it may concern:
I am writing you today to urge to vote no on allowing In & Out to be developed near the neighborhood of
Bainbridge.
There are many reasons as to why I oppose this development. First, I personally have been in more
than one incident where an accident almost occurred on Lost Rapids between the road coming out of
Costco parking lot by Olivia apartments. That is not a road or a street and is already extremely
congested.
We all know that In & Out brings a LOT of traffic to their restaurants. This is unfair for the residents of
Bainbridge who deserve better. We have a park that is over crowded with cars parking there for many
events and we just can’t take another load of traffic in this area. Especially when there are SO many other
options for In & Out to be built that are available that do not directly fall feet away from a neighborhood
and are in a more commercial area. We have enough drive thru restaurants in this small location already.
I am concerned about the children who ride bikes, walk and take busses so close (700 feet!) that this is
a major concern. I see so many cars racing down Lost Rapids and this is going to be so much worse with
the added traffic and cars.
Anyone who has gone to Costco knows that the line to get into the parking lot already extends out to
the road sometimes making cars wait at the light on Ten Mile. Imagine this with THOUSANDS more cars.
This is going to back up to the Walmart!!!! Or worse back up into a neighborhood that doesn’t want or
deserve this.
Next, we see so many reckless drivers racing down Lost Rapids. This is going to be a popular location
for high schoolers who want to go here for lunch while racing back to school on time. This is going to be a
problem and I hope no tragic accidents occur with young drivers being reckless.
Finally, the late hours it is open is unacceptable. There are 6 nearby neighborhoods that oppose this
because we all want to live in a peaceful area that is not bothered by late night or early morning delivery
trucks. My son works unloading these same type of trucks in another local business and the trucks are
often late or early. They are never on time and 2am or 3am unloading of trucks is common regardless of
what In & Out may argue.
Meridian is a wonderful place and we love living here. It is growing extremely fast and I am concerned
that it is taking away from some of the special aspects of having a safe, quiet and peaceful neighborhood
that we moved to Meridian for.

I ask you to please side with the overwhelming majority of residents and vote NO for In & Out to be built
in this location in Meridian.
Thank you for supporting Meridian families!

Good afternoon Brenda,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts about the proposed project. Your email has been received by
our office. As you may be aware, the City does not determine which food service or business locates at a property,
the City regulates the land use of various properties while businesses decide to locate at given sites or areas
based on market conditions.
Because this project is part of an open application, the Mayor and City Council members are prohibited from
commenting outside of the public hearing. We take public feedback seriously and want you to know that we have
received your email and have read your comments.
Your email has been forwarded to our City Clerk and will be included in the public record. We invite you to check
the City’s website, meridiancity.org for any upcoming public hearing notices and additional information regarding
the development.
Thank you,
