Dear City Council and Mayor's Office, I’m a Meridian resident writing to strongly oppose the proposed In-N-Out at Ten Mile and Lost Rapids. This corner is already overwhelmed with traffic from the Costco development. Adding a high-volume drive thru one that draws over a million visitors a year is going to push this area past its breaking point. This isn’t just a traffic issue, it’s a safety issue. Two city parks and several school bus stops are within a stone’s throw of that intersection. It’s not the right place. This would also be the 11th drive-thru in that development. That’s not what was envisioned for this part of the city, and it’s definitely not what residents want. Our Bainbridge community survey showed 80% were against it, and public comments from surrounding neighborhoods were nearly unanimous in opposition. Even with limited hours and delivery restrictions, the real issue remains: this is the wrong location. Please listen to your constituents and vote no.
