As citizens of Meridian and residents of the Bainbridge neighborhood,
we are strongly OPPOSED to the building of the In-N-Out
restaurant on the corner of Ten Mile and Lost Rapids. Below are just a
few of our concerns.
1. Although In-N-Out stated they can handle the amount of cars in the
proposed lot, the real issue is the amount of cars going into and
coming out of the lot while waiting their turn to get onto the lot. The
left-turning traffic at this corner already has long wait times, becomes
congested, and at times dangerous.
2. The Costco development is already overwhelmed with too many
drive-thru establishments and restaurants.
3. The only traffic study we observed was not placed anywhere near
the Ten Mile/Lost Rapids intersection. It was also done in the winter
when traffic flow is considerably less as the neighborhood park is not
being utilized as they are in the spring, summer, and fall.
4. The midnight closing hour proposed by In-N-Out is still too late for a
residential neighborhood. It could potentially attract late night In-N-
Out customers bringing noise, shenanigans, and mischievousness to
Keith Bird Park disturbing the houses bordering and adjacent to the
park.

Good morning Jeff and Sherry,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts about the proposed project. Your email has been received by
our office. As you may be aware, the City does not determine which food service or business locates at a property,
the City regulates the land use of various properties while businesses decide to locate at given sites or areas
based on market conditions.
Because this project is part of an open application, the Mayor and City Council members are prohibited from
commenting outside of the public hearing. We take public feedback seriously and want you to know that we have
received your email and have read your comments.
Your email has been received by our City Clerk and included in the public record. We invite you to check the City’s
website, meridiancity.org for any upcoming public hearing notices and additional information regarding the
development.
Thank you,
