Dear City Council,
I strongly oppose the proposed In-N-Out at Lost Rapids and Ten Mile. This location is a
poor choice for several reasons:
The Costco area already struggles with traffic—this would make it worse.
Two busy parks and three school bus stops are within 700 feet, creating real safety
concerns.
In-N-Out would be the 11th drive-thru in the development, far from the original vision
for this area.
Their traffic study was conducted in December, avoiding the heavy spring and
summer traffic this area sees.
Surveys and public comments show overwhelming community opposition—80% to
96% of respondents are against it.
Northwest Meridian has many other sites that could host In-N-Out without burdening
neighborhoods. Please protect our community by rejecting this location. For the safety of the
children who live nearby alone this should be STRONGLY discouraged. People don’t pay
attention as is at that intersection.
