To Whom It May Concern:
In receipt of your letter of the public hearing on Tuesday, March 27,2007, I am writing
with the concern of being a property owner ofthe adjacent property (please see attached
property documents). I have purchased the property with the hope of future development
into one(1) acre lots. I am requesting that the R-8 zoning on the adjacent property being
proposed be changed to R-4, which is exactly what the other properties have.

Laws of the State of Idaho, that the Meridian City Council of the City of Meridian will hold a.
public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of
7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, for the purpose of reviewing and considering the
application AZ 06-059 of Providence Development for Annexation and Zoning of 224.26
acxes from RR to R-2, R-4 and R-8 ;z:~:mes forBICl_c,krock .~as;tle Greel1s;, Subdivisiqni _
Furthermore, the applicant requests the application PP 06-059 for Preliminary Plat
approval of 644 residential lots and 31 common lots on 224.26 acres in the proposed R-2, R-4
and R-8 zones for Blackrock Castle Greens Subdivision generally located on west of S.
Eagle Road and south of Amity Road.
A more particular description of the above property is on file in the Planning Department,
660 E. Watertower Lane Suite 202, and is available for inspection during regular business
hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may contact the Planning
Department at (208) 884-5533 during regular business hours. A copy of the application is
available to review upon request.
Any and all interested persons shall be heard at said public hearing, and the public is
welcome and invited to submit testimony. Oral testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes
per person. Written materials should be submitted to the City Clerk's Office at 33 E. Idaho
Avenue, Meridian, Idaho 83642, (208) 888-4433 or fax (208) 888-4218 no later than seven (7)
days prior to the above hearing date so that all interested parties may examin~ them prior to the
hearing. All' materials presented at public meetings shall become property of the City of
Meridian. Anyone desiring accommodation for disabilities related to documents and/or
hearings. please contact the City Clerk's Office at (208) 888-4433 at least 72 hours prior to the
public meeting.
The Ada County Highway District may also conduct public meetings regarding this
application. If you have questions about the traffic that this development may generate or the
