discussion was held concerning 4n area south of Meridian desiring connect-
ion t our sewer system. Those primarily concerned was property owned y Earl
oryel , Meridian Bowling Lanes, Meridian Athletic Associate , Meridian Dairy
Show, Peter Deward, Edna Henson, Edward Banks, David Warren, and Roland Hon.

r. Child pointed out that he best solution of this whole problem would be

Sumner Johnson, Consulting Engineer, commented also that this is by far the
less c stly program to be fo lower .

r. Coryell stated that he was unable financially to stand the exp nse for T
is portion at this time, which amounts to approximately $3, .00
r. Quinteria, representing the B wling Lanes, stated that he wanted to go
n rec rd as desiring this project to proceed immediatly.

r. Warren stated that he too desired this project to proceed and in speaking

I1 of these mentioned abov in their statements also indicated willingness
o be brought into the City. Mr. Coryell had stated that he was not interested at
his time in being annexed into t e City, but that it appeared to him as though he
d ve y little choice in this matter with the present pressures of land beyond
]Lis pr petty desiring so strongly to be annexed to the City. Mr. Ooryell, allso
stated that Mr. Deward, Edna Henson and Edward Banks are no conne ted to the City

r. Coryell told the &cup hat h needed more time to consioer this matter..

roperiT to enter into the sewage extension program as time get ing short.
Water will soon be in the ditches,and work of the intercepter to the Inter-state
will be under full construct Lon very shortly.
r. Coryell stated that he ould come forward with an answer to-morrow, or

he Mayor stated that Norman Fuller is still interested in d velop Og the
roger y near the north-east part of tovn as has been discussed in previous Council
eeti s and is exploring th development by using individual sept c AM to dis-
pose o sewage. No action was taken in this matter.
There being no further business t come before the Council the meeting stood
