Yes, we need more police officers in Meridian. The fine for running a red light should be $1000. If you
increase the fines, levies may not be needed, but I would approve any appropriation. Law & Order on
the streets seems to be a thing if the past? Why are we waiting for 2026, make it happen now; please! I
wrote the mayor s couple of years ago regarding safety on our streets, but never heard back. Hopefully,
feedback won't be ignored this time.
