Good morning, As a retiree living on a fixed income in Meridian, I feel the City needs to function within their budget. With the state of the economy, huge price increases and lower cost of living raises from social security , a levy is un reasonable. I am fully aware of the huge inflow of new residents into our community but growth needs to be slowed down until infrastructure can be adjusted to our population size. Improvements, like walking paths and playgrounds to parks are nice but not a priority . That money could be better spent towards the items you want to put on the levy. I live on a monthly budget and when the money is gone that is it. No spending on other items. The city leaders need to keep that in mind, stay within your budget, make adjustments or cuts to support the items you feel are a priority. Our property taxes are already high enough as it is. A lot of us chose to live here because of the lower cost of living but that has all changed with population increases. I will not support a levy , should it appear on the ballot in the election. Thank you , Cynthia Hall 1
