Due to this request, staff is recommending that the Commission open and continue the March 15, 2007 public hearing for the Waltman Property Annexation (AZ-06-063) to the May 3, 2007 Commission hearing, to allow the applicant more time to prepare for the public hearing. As we discussed, our team is working through additional site design criteria to bring the City of Meridian a more specific site plan with associated building design elements for review. We request placement of our project on the May 3, 2007 agenda with Planning and Zoning Commission. Understanding the workload facing the Commission and staff for April, the first session of May also works well for our team. My current expectations are to have additional site plan information to review with you during March. We are scheduling to meet with the Police and Fire to discuss the revised site plan per our meeting of February 23. I will contact you to request review. Thanks again for your time and assistance as we work through the large planning issues and the specific project details.
