Lolo Pass Way, , Meridian, ID, 83646, United States Subject: New Levy Message: As a senior (74 years old) on fixed income, another levy makes me cringe. Everything has gotten so expensive, and I'd really like to stay in our home, which we've lived in for 10 years. Before that, we lived in Boise and moved from the area because the city was going to annex our property and double our property taxes. We hoped at that point to be able to retire. We bought this home at less than half of what it is worth now, and we really like the area and don't want to have to move, especially at our age. Some day, you will be in our situation and wonder why no legislators ever listen to you about the high costs of living. Please consider those of us who are older and make some sort of provision for us. Our property taxes will increase by a couple of hundred dollars a year, along with everything else that's gotten crazy expensive. I will vote no if this comes to a vote, and I know many of my elderly neighbors will do the same. Let the out-of-staters who come here with lots of cash pay for these extra services, not those of us 1 who have lived in Idaho all our lives and have an income based off of low Idaho wages (Social Security). Do something nice for the retired people in your districts for once. 2
