HomeMy WebLinkAbout25-2523 CPAM Mondt Meadows H-2024-0067 CITY OF MERIDIAN RESOLUTION NO. 25-2523 BY THE CITY COUNCIL: CAVENER, LITTLE ROBERTS, OVERTON, STRADER, TAYLOR,WHITLOCK A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN TO AMEND THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN COMPREHENSIVE PLAN CONCERNING 10.28 ACRES OF LAND TO ALLOW FOR LARGER ESTATE LOTS, GENERALLY LOCATED AT 6101 AND 6162 S. TARREGA LANE, IN A PORTION OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority pursuant to Idaho Code § 50-302 to establish resolutions not inconsistent with the laws of the state of Idaho as may be expedient, in addition to the special powers therein granted, to maintain the peace, good government and welfare of the corporation and its trade, commerce and industry; and WHEREAS, the City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan was adopted in December 2019 as resolution 19-2179; and WHEREAS, the City Council has deemed it appropriate to amend the Future Land Use Map of the City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan concerning 10.28 acres of land to allow for larger estate lots, generally located at 6101 and 6162 S. Tarrega Lane, in a portion of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 31, Township 3 North, Range I East, Boise Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, as depicted on Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, all notices, hearings, and required information necessary to make a final decision as required by the Idaho Local Land Use Planning Act to amend the adopted City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan have been met. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Idaho Code § 67-6509, the City Council hereby amends the City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map as depicted on Exhibit A under "Proposed Future Land Uses." A copy of this Resolution and the attached amendment shall be held on file in the office of the City Clerk.
