Re: Storage/Sorting Building
Commission and Council Members,
St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Meridian is proposing to build a 50' x 60' x 12'
building to house sorting and storage functions. The building will be located to the west
of the existing building in the existing storage yard. This building will clean up the
storage area. The storage area is currently overflowing with donations that are exposed
to the weather.. This is also an eye sore to the neighbors.. The sorting area will also be
expanded into this building. They plan to house all of the donations inside with this
addition to their facilities with no outside storage.
The building will be a metal siding and roofing clad wood frame structure with stucco
on the front elevation to match the existing building.. The parking lot will be revised to
help accommodate drop off of donations to the new building. A new fence and trees will
be put along the west property line to buffer the building to the condos on the west.

COMMITMENT OF PROPERTY POSTING

public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment

The applicant shall submit proof of property posting in the form of a notarized statement and a
photograph of the posting to the City no later than seven (7) days prior to the public hearing
attesting to where and when the sign(s) were posted. Unless such Certificate is received by the
required date, the hearing will be continued.
The sign(s) shall be removed no later than three (3) days after the end of the public hearing for
which the sign(s) had been posted.
