RE: Easement Vacation Request
Dear Anna:
Weare requesting the vacation of a utility easement in Gemtone Subdivision #5. An exhibit showing the
easement to be vacated is attached. A lot line adjustment was recently approved for lots 5 and 6 in
Gemtone Subdivision #5; an easement vacation is being requested because it was not possible to move
the existing utility easements when the lot lines were adjusted. The existing utility easements must be
vacated before a building pennit can be issued for the subject property. We have received
relinquishments of the utility easements from all affected agencies in addition to all City of Meridian
submittal requirements for the easement vacation have been met.

COMMITMENT OF PROPERTY POSTING
Per Unified Development Code (UDq II-5A-5D, the applicant for all applications requiring a
public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment
and/or vacations) shall post the subject property not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing.
