RE: Erratum: Correction to Memorandum for H-2024-0068
Cumulative Impacts
On page 1 of the Memorandum for School Impacts dated May 5, 2025, there was a scriveners
error in the number of forecasted school-aged children. The correct number of school-aged
children is 781 (not 1,156). This number is calculated by looking at the number of entitled units
within the last 5 years within a 1-mile radius of the project location. The intent of looking at
cumulative impacts on schools is to forecast the number of school-aged children, enrolled in
both public and private schools, using city-wide American Community Survey census data.

Student Generation Rate
Additionally, for clarification purposes, the calculation of school-aged children remains the
same at approximately 133. However, Student Generation Rates are calculated in reference to
the designated elementary school within the subject property's associated Development Area
Zone, also referred to as a school attendance area, not the elementary school alone. Approval
of the project is estimated to result in 133 school aged children that would be enrolled in all
West Ada school grade levels and not grades k through 5 only. The enrollment capacity
identified in Exhibit A, Page 2, of the original memorandum, is part of a template that includes
secondary information and the template should be reconsidered.
Staff apologizes for any confusion these errors may have caused.
