Thanks for all the information. I am very confused as to the role of the P&~ commission. It would seem it exists to watch out for the well being of the public, being sure that the agencies of government are not adversely impacting the citizens. Things seem turned around in this case. Am I wrong? I am grateful the planning staff concluded that the current proposal is not compatible with either the Comprehensive Zoning Plan, or the particular site being considered. I am also grateful the City Council is on record in support of the present zoning plan. Many of us made real estate decisions based on that zoning status being maintained. A major concern relates to an almost certain outcome if the present application were to be approved, There would be NO grounds for rejecting similar applications for the multiple sites surrounding the present parcel under consideration. This would completely and adversely impact the character of the area. I hope we can count on the City Council to continue its support of the conclusions of your agency. I'm confident they realize that respect of the governed is a rare commodity and not to be squandered. ' Best wishes. Richard E. Carlson, MD Woodbridge 2i2oizoo~
