Project Description Armet Davis Newlove&Associates
This project proposes a new El Pollo Loco restaurant and future retail/restaurant space at 3471 W. Chinden in the
Costco Center. The building will consist of a 2,000 square foot Ell Pollo Loco restaurant with a drive-thru, and a 1,250
square foot shell space to later be developed as a retail or restaurant use. The site plan shows 20 parking stalls for
the restaurant use, and 4 stalls for the future retail/restaurant use.
El Pollo Loco is a national restaurant chain with over 400 locations. This location will be the first in the area. El Pollo
Loco is known for its alternative healthy fast-food choices and fresh grilled chicken. The restaurant offers a number
of Mexican style dishes for in-location dining,to-go and drive-thru pickup.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and operates from 10AM to 11PM. No alcohol will be served.
A conditional use permit application is being filed given the proximity to other drive-thru uses.
